Volunteer Work of Ray Freese
My volunteer areas of interest include:
- St. Johns United Church of Christ (Cappeln) where I have been a member since 1947 and have held, among others, the offices of Church School Superintendent, Church Council Member, President, Vice-President, Secretary, and am currently serving as Treasurer
- Missouri Mid-South Conference of the United Church of Christ where I have served in various capacities, including Chairperson of the Commission of Church and Ministry, member of Conference Minister Search Committee, President of the Eastern Association of the Conference, Secretary of the Implementing Ministry, and secretary of the Church and Ministry Committee of the Eastern Association of the Conference, and member of the Nominating Committee of the Eastern Association.

- Boone-Duden Historical
Society for which I have served as Treasurer and President and am currently contributing a page "100 Years Ago in Boone-Duden Country" consisisting of items selected/translated from newspapers of the county 100 years ago to each bi-monthly issue of our newsletter.
- Emmaus Homes, an organization with an annual budget in excess of $25,000,000 that serves adults with developmental disabilities, and on whose board I have served from 1980 to 1990 and from 1998 up to the present, including terms as President and Treasurer.
